United Voice WA, the hospitality union, is calling out an East Perth restaurant’s attempt to use public donations to pay workers.
East Perth’s Co-Op prematurely and suddenly closed last week and has since been asking for community support through a Go-Fund-Me page to help pay for staff and suppliers.

But there's still a lot of work to done, especially when it comes to insecure work.
That's why we are running the "Target 10" campaign, to:
1) Increase secure Employment
2) Achieve more hours for part-time staff
3) A target of no more than 10% casual or agency usage in each hospital department and occupation

In our last agreement, we won a commitment from Crown that our Penalty Rates would not be reduced. And this time around we won a commitment from Crown that Penalty Rates wouldn't even be on the table at negotiations.
