United Voice, the Early Childhood Educators union welcomes the Federal Government’s push towards greater fee transparency, however urges the Government to look at low wages in the sector.
United Voice WA Assistant Secretary Karma Lord said the Government must also act on the low pay crisis which is affecting service staffing and fees.
United Voice, the hospitality union, has called on Woolworths today to ensure workers in their pubs and liquor stores are not at risk of losing wages and conditions following the company’s announcement they would be selling off their liquor operations.
United Voice WA Secretary Carolyn Smith said Woolworths have a responsibility to its workers.
