Join United Voice at May Day to protect our penalty rates.
May Day is a time to celebrate the pay and conditions – like penalty rates – that working people have won. This year it is important that we come together and send a message that it's time to Change the Rules so working people are treated and paid fairly!
This year's May Day will be held on Sunday May 5th at the Esplanade in Fremantle, kicking off at 10:00am. At the festival there will be stalls, life music, free rides, and fun for kids. ACTU President Michele O'Neil is this year's guest and keynote speaker.
The May Day march will start at 12:00pm, with unions and community groups walking side by side, celebrating solidarity. After the march there will be a free sausage sizzle for all, and the live music and free fun will continue into the afternoon.
Please RSVP via the form below. Further information about the event can be found on the UnionsWA website here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
