Who are United Voice members?
United Voice members work in schools, hospitals, ambulance services, aged care, contract cleaning, disabilities, early childhood education, hospitality, security, dairies, food processing and more.
We are workers of all different ages, genders, races and backgrounds, united by our belief in the dignity of workers and the right to fair and just treatment at work. We are an active union, and we are passionate about organising to win.
We have diverse backgrounds and a multitude of different skills, but all share the same goal — to take action for positive social change and stand up for the type of society we believe in. Many of us work on a casual or part-time basis and the majority of us are women.
From our diversity we gain great strength.
As a United Voice member you can feel secure and be ambitious about improving your job, knowing you have the support of unionised colleagues where you work and well beyond.
